My name is Alastra and I am the Senior Case Manager at Ascendant Health. I graduated with my BSN in 2022 from Madonna University and started off my nursing career in the pediatric ICU at Children’s Hospital of Michigan and then transitioned onto the burn unit before making the career switch to case management. I call case management the ” hidden gem of nursing.” I love educating and advocating for my patients! It is a pleasure and blessing to watch my patients improve all around throughout their recovery journey. Outside of work, cooking and fitness are my hobbies!
