I’m Julia Beaman, an Internal Case Manager at Ascendant, with a background in psychology and a deep passion for supporting individuals through their personal journeys. I earned my degree in psychology from Washburn University in 2018, and since then, I’ve had the privilege of working in a variety of case management roles, including foster care, anti-trafficking initiatives, and advocacy for victims of domestic abuse.
After transitioning into the medical side of case management, I’ve found a rewarding niche in helping patients navigate their recovery. I’m committed to empowering patients to take an active role in their healthcare decisions, providing them with the tools and support they need to thrive.
Outside of my work at Ascendant, I’m an avid boater and a licensed captain, helping run a charter business. I also love exploring new food scenes and spending quality time with friends, whether it’s relaxing by the water or discovering a new favorite restaurant.
